A Private Universe (video series)
Private Universe Project in Science: Workshop Three: Hands-On/Minds-On Learning. Note that the four attempt-to-light-a-lightbulb schematics at 21min25sec look as though they could have been inspiration for "Observational experiment table 16.2: Making a flashlight bulb glow" in Etkina et al. 1st ed. p. 582-583, and that the student's wiring diagram at 35min11sec looks as though it could have been inspiration for "Figure 22.21: The basic circuit of a battery and a bulb" in Knight et al. 3rd ed. p. 714. The similarities between these textbook illustrations and the Private Universe Project images suggests development from overlapping source material, and the differences between these textbook illustrations highlights different instructional approaches. Even though Knight et al. use reformed physics pedagogical techniques (e.g. multiple representations and problem-solving steps that resembles steps described by Reif, Larkin, and Brackett (1976)), Knight et al. use more of a traditional didactic (show and tell) approach than the ISLE/inquiry approach used throughout Etkina et al. (observe paradigm experiment(s), identify pattern(s), make predictions tested in an organized way as shown in testing experiment tables, refine/loop, etc.).
A Private Universe Project in Science: Workshop Four: A House With No Foundation. The student's diagram at 39min48sec looks like the top two panels of "Figure 9.4: A gas can be compressed, but a liquid cannot" in Etkina et al. 1st ed. p. 322.

PrettyGoodPhysics (in the midst of a server transition as of 2018 July) is a wiki that physics educators use to share teaching materials and links. PrettyGoodPhysics contains secure material, including practice questions that are not allowed to be shared with anyone who is not a teacher. I am a full-time private tutor, so I am not eligible to access to this site. However, your classroom teachers are eligible, so please share this link with them.

AP Teacher Community: AP Physics

Dolores Gende is an AP Physics teacher at North Broward Preparatory and was a co-chair of the AP Physics 1 Test Development Committee. She maintains an index of physics teaching resources.

Algebra-based physics: Practice problems

Jacobs, Greg. 5 steps to a 5 AP Physics 1: Algebra-based 2018 Elite Student Edition was written by a teacher who took effort to make practice problems that are similar to and/or helpful for preparing for the AP Physics 1 exam. There are commercial test preparation companies that merely repackaged old AP Physics B test preparation books. Using only problems from AP Physics B preparation books does not provide good preparation for the AP Physics 1 exam.
